heya people...

I have been away for so long... it feels like a century.
Havent a clue about anything that has been happening and going around here...
but thats all gonna change...

I have been running around like a headless chicken at work... meetings... travelling ... visiting...stores and all that jazz....
But i have had enough time to socialize... go for some amazing parties and gatherings... meeting some wonderful, fun loving and interesting and amazing people... Yes very much here in little old Kuwait.

The highlight of this week was this ay shi lounge thing that i went to last thursday... amazing ambience and setting ... music to suit your soul and the mood with food and drinks to go around.
It was the first time i went there... and it was a brilliant night....

this is going to be really short and quick ...

just wanted to let everyone know that i am alive and kicking...
This last month i have been a crazy frenzy .... all related to work ....

China and Hongkong were on my travel destination ...obvioulsy concerning work .... will write about that in length later ....

this week has been the craziest and busiest and craziest and busiest in all aspects ...socially and work ....

but i am back ....

now i have to get back to work ...

I have been meaning to post about this incident for sometime but havent been able to do so ...

Anyways a few weeks back my friends and i decided to go jet skiing ....
After checking out a few places that were relatively less crowded we decided to rent the jet skis at the beach next to Lenotre in kuwait city. Since i was not in the mood for skiing... i was just observing people and things around me...

There was this huge family besides us ( i knew they were arab but dont know from where but that hardly matters) having a barbeque and having a fun day at the beach... talking .. laughing ...
one of the guys from their troop decides to rent a ski ....
As we all know that all beaches in kuwait have these bright plastic balls marking the territory till where one can swim and then it has the inbetween space where the jet skis go through and come in to park.We also know that wearing a life jacket is appropriate no matter how good one is with the ski cause you cannot trust the others ... freak accidents are common

This dude goes off.... i must say he was pretty good with the ski... the very first round he goes solo but on his return firstly he comes from the area where people are swimming (this got me angry anyways and i started cursing him but not that anyone could hear) anway he comes to the bay to take his 1 year old kid for a ride...
my mouth just fell ...
that small little baby didnt have a life jacket forget that i mean jet skis are not meant for babies or toddlers MAN O MAN
... i just looked at my friend with the biggest eyes ever and said is this guy CRAZY ??????

What was this guy thinking, was he insane to risk the life of his child ?or was he trying to be over smart? .... do people lack common sense ?... thinking about it still makes me FURIOUS!!!!

While god was giving out common sense he was jet skiing (angry angry angry me!!!!!!!!!!)

Its been a while since i have penned out stuff ....

But what can i say its been a bUsy bUsy Busy for me ... i know its the same all the time ... but thats my life in kuwait....
Shit loads happening

i got a car i got a car i got a car... finally after almost a year of getting my drivers liscence ... and eating everyones brains about it ... i got a white toyota corolla 2004 model... cheap chirpy, low maintenance and awesome resale value ... I HAVE MY VERY OWN FIRST CAR EVER ... and it feels great ... i mean its an amaziing feeling ... there are no words to express it.

i got promoted at work ... i am the new accessory designer and buyer ... the department is new... its my own little baby ... So a lot of travel and researching and shit amounts of work .... which means busy busy bee again ... a hell lot of travelling as well ... which i am so looking forward to ... though i know i will hate in a while .... but as of now its exciting ... i am so looking forward to it ....plus a RAISE ... :) ..... which is well deserved ... sorry for being modest but i have worked my butt off for my company .....

finally got to meet CD (closet diva for all you wondering what CD stands for)... it was great hooking up with you. Its so cool to finally catch up with you .... it still completely amazes me how you meet people of different nationalities and cultures and backgrounds that share the same interest as you and share similarities.... :) .... woman you totally ROCK.

UE is finally coming to town and i cant wait to meet up with her.

My department at work in so many ways reminds me of my school days ...
Firstly its an all women department (which my feminist side is extremely Proud of and i studied in an all girls school).
Secondly we have like dress code restrictions ... given to us recently.
Time to get in and get out and eat.
A few restrictions here and there which i am in no mood to elaborate.
We also got a talk about our behaviour outside of work.. on weekends and after working hours ....

Point being, i dont how many of you had this whole group thing happening way back in school, where you had your own click and bitched about the other girls and passed comments or behaved like the sorority houses where one test other people to let them in the group. Presently this is what is happening and i am way beyond being petty and childish ... completely boils my blood.

Its one of the chicks birthday from the Mafia gang (thats what i call the work click) and a few of us are planning this whole surprise thingy for her this thursday (that would be tomorrow). Now her birthday is on Sat yeah !but our party is planned on thursday ... the weekend right.
Now she has been going on about going and playing soap football like forever but obviously none of us can cause we need to get stuff ready for thursday night. She has decided to boycott us ... since yesterday morning after i told her i could not make it she has been giving me the cold shoulder and no chit chatting at work and not looking at you when you talk to her and being curt and to the point whislt talking .... thought she would sleep over it and act mature but NO! It continues to this morning ...
I am 20 fucking 8 and she is 23 (not that young you know)it i feels like i am 12 and in school.
I am so way over this stupid stupid petty bullshit.

My cell phone which was in Dubai for repairs is finally going to be here this weekend after 2 whole months YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE .
